Ok, it's been ages since I've posted anything on our blog (for which I apologize). Here is an example of a 360 degree, full body, 3d scan that I recently did here at Meshmasters
What you are seeing is RAW data output directly from our 3D scanner. Thanks for looking!

From the inactivity on this blog you might get the impression that nothing is going on here at Meshmasters but nothing could be further from the truth as we have been booked solid for months. We are currently involved with extremely exciting projects, including our normal feature film and television 3d scanning jobs. Over the past few months we've also been working with several very high profile NYC based artists, helping them to bring their ideas to life.  More later, but for now it's back to the hive because we've got 3d scanning to do!

Here is a look inside one of the camera pods on our fast surgical grade 3D head/face scanner. I've just finished a major upgrade/refurbishment of the system hardware.  This system can produce geometry with maps, automatically fully textured within a fraction of a second.  It is a very fast machine.

Here are even more cameras for our 3rd generation 3D scanner...this is just the tip of the iceberg!

We are in the process of building our 3rd generation 3D scanner and have recently acquired some awesome new machine vision cameras from IDS. We've also got some really nice new Fujinon lenses with excellent resolving capability.

So much going on at the moment, fully booked with projects and sorting out new hardware.

The 3B arrives! 07/30/2011

Our latest hardware acquisition codename "3B" (a.k.a. the Big, Black Box) arrived yesterday evening at 6:00 PM.  Exciting times ahead!

Help!  We've been abducted by aliens.  Er...OK, no we haven't but we are hard at work at last on this new website.  Now if I could only find my ray-gun.
